Pacing refers to the speed at which you run a set distance, for example a kilometer or a mile. Pacing is typically measured in minutes per kilometer or per mile, which is the average time it’d take you to cover this specific distance.

During races, pacing is all about finding that sweet spot to run the whole distance effectively without burning out too early.
